Application

MGM Tank Car model 110 Thermometer well (Thermowell) assembly is AAR approved for use on railroad tank cars. Primary use is on a pressurized tank car coverplate assembly to provide access for a temperature reading device to be inserted down the well to take a temperature reading of the commodity before and/or after loading, without contacting the commodity itself.

Materials of construction include Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel or other exotic metals (please specify).

MGM Tank Car model 110 Thermometer well assembly comes standard as 5 3/4" length with 3/4" male NPT connection with a 1 1/4" hex cap and Buna-N O-ring seal.

Optional configurations are also available upon request.
